Today marks two weeks of having successfully completed the August 2022 DUO coaching program with Eat Mostly Greens, and I had purposefully waited to post feedback to really reflect on the experience and benefits I have attained even AFTER the coaching ended. In the program’s introductory booklet, Mishel promised to guide and provide “patients and clients with all the nutrition education they need in order for them to bring about lifestyle modifications and healthy changes so they don’t just progress in this program but also thrive afterward,” and I can attest that her program and efforts did just that for me. The coaching program is comprised of women with similar health goals and are mostly all in the same boat of balancing a busy lifestyle with families, jobs and packed schedules. The program included accountability, encouragement, tips, suggestions, meal ideas, group meetings, and one-on-one meetings with Mishel that provided the push we needed to thrive in achieving our weight, diet and exercise goals. Never in my life have I ever followed such a disciplined approach to my health, and I was wary that I would not be able to achieve my goals let alone manage to continue the process after the program ended, but boy was I wrong! Alhamdulillah I managed to lose a few pounds, and more importantly I was able to sustain my main goal, which was to develop a more healthier lifestyle with a balanced diet and exercise. I would highly recommend the coaching program (or even private coaching with Mishel) for those who just need that extra motivation and push to get started on a healthier journey.
